CK's Managing Partner Joins the British Film Institute

Updated: Sep 21, 2020

We are pleased to announce that our Managing Partner has made a member of The British Film Institute. The Institute is a film and charitable organization which promotes and preserves filmmaking and television in the United Kingdom. It is sponsored by the UK Government's - Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. It was established in 1933 by Royal Charter by the UK's Monarchy to encourage the development of the arts of film and television. The British Film Institute runs the annual London Film Festival.

The British Film Institute has its very own IMAX which is the biggest cinema screen in the UK: over 20 meters high and 26 meters wide! Seeing a film here is like nothing else - digital surround sound, a screen almost as high as five double-decker buses, 498 seats (including 89 Premier Seats), and that's just inside the auditorium. The Institute also has a Costa Coffee Cafe, Ben and Jerry's and a Licensed Bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks! The institute has the largest film library in the UK as well.
